Workforce wellbeing and enablement
Staff members gave mixed feedback. Some staff said they felt supported and other staff felt the management team were not responsive to their needs and wellbeing. Some staff told us had received supervisions and some stated they had not. Staff raised concerns about their wellbeing and living conditions which were facilitated by the service, however these were not addressed by the service.
Leaders told us they supported staff to undertake their roles, provided them with the training and supervision required, however we did not always see evidence of this documented. Staff meetings did not demonstrate a focus on staff well-being, and training was insufficient to ensure staff had the necessary knowledge and skills to meet people’s needs.
