Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.
Boxmoor House Dental Practice is in Hemel Hempstead and provides predominantly private dental care and treatment for adults and children. It has a small NHS contract which is used to provide care and treatment for children only.
There was access to the practice via a portable ramp for wheelchair users and car parking spaces, including a dedicated parking space for disabled people, were available outside the practice.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms. At the time of our assessment, there was a total of 9 staff, of which there were 4 dentists which included a visiting endodontist, 2 dental nurses, a dental hygienist, 1 receptionist and a manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our assessment, including 2 dentists, 2 dental nurses and the manager.
The service provides cosmetic treatments, which are not in scope of regulation and are not covered in our assessment.
