Our view of the service
The assessment commenced on 9 May 2024 and was completed by 23 May 2024. The assessment included a site visit to the service on 9 May 2024. Paisley Lodge is a care home. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as single package under one contractual agreement. The Care Quality Commission regulates both the premises and the care provided, and both were looked at during this inspection. At the last inspection this care home was rated good. At this inspection the home remained good. We looked at 7 quality statements; Safeguarding, Involving people to manage risks, Safe and effective staffing, Independence choice and control, Equity in experiences and outcomes, Freedom to speak up and Governance, management and sustainability.
People's experience of this service
People were positive about the care they received and said they felt safe. People and relatives told us they felt well supported by staff who were kind and considerate. Staff knew people well and demonstrated how they promoted people’s choice and independence. People and relatives provided mixed feedback about staffing levels and their involvement in the care planning process.
