Caring
People were treated with kindness, empathy and compassion. Staff listened to people to build an understanding and appreciation for what mattered to them, they cared about people, how they were treated and supported. Their privacy and dignity was respected. Every effort was made to take their wishes into account and respect their choices, to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.

People told us they had confidence in the health professionals who provided their care. They were treated with kindness, empathy and compassion and had their privacy and dignity respected.

Responding to people’s immediate needs
People were listened to, their needs, views and wishes understood. Staff had access to information needed to assess and support people in discussions about their immediate needs. Staff knew how to recognise when a person’s health may deteriorate, and they may require help or support. Staff had access to appropriate tools and technology to respond to emergencies.
