Our view of the service
We carried out this assessment from 13 August 2024 to 17 September 2024. We visited the office on 13 and 29 August 2024, we visited people in their homes on 29 and 30 August 2024. This assessment was carried out following concerns shared with us by the local authority. Future Care Enable Ltd is a domiciliary care provider. The service provides support to people living with dementia and people with a physical disability in their own homes. We looked at 12 quality statements across 3 key questions. We found 2 breaches of legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment and governance arrangements. In instances where CQC have decided to take civil or criminal enforcement action against a provider, we will publish this information on our website after any representations and/or appeals have been concluded.
People's experience of this service
Feedback regarding the responsiveness to requests for staff changes was varied, with some individuals expressing concerns about delays in seeing changes implemented, while others reported quick and satisfactory resolutions to their concerns. Additionally, there were mixed reviews about the compatibility with assigned carers, with the provider in the process of addressing requests for staff changes. However, many relatives expressed satisfaction with the service, highlighting the understanding and supportive nature of the staff.
