Responsive
Staff ensured people had access to healthcare and support to maintain their wellbeing. When support needs changed, referrals were made to specialist for further advice such as the learning disability team or occupational therapists. When needed the service worked with advocacy services to support people in managing and understanding their care and treatment.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
People told us staff supported them to maintain their wellbeing. One person said, “My keyworker talks to me about everything, and we make plans together.” Another person said, “I have been out to the library today and for lunch.”
Staff supported people to access activities in the community they enjoyed doing and to live full and active lives. The registered manager told us where a person wished to use transport independently, they risk assessed this and put systems in place for them to achieve this. Staff understood people’s rights under equality and human rights.
The registered manager supported people to access healthcare to ensure their physical and mental well being was catered for. Each person had a health passport to help them access services and had reviews with health professionals such as GPs, dentist or hospital specialist.
