Leadership was visible and accessible, the provider, registered manager, and the management team at Edith Healthcare Ringwood were passionate in supporting people to maintain their independence and live well at home. The ethos of the service was at the core of everything they did, and everyone was committed to the vision. Staff were complimentary about the management of the service. The registered manager told us they were supported very well by their staff, senior team and by the provider. A relative told us about their experience of the service and said, “Compassion, dignity and encouragement, they are essential to us.”

Staff knew how to raise concerns and access support, there were clear procedures in place, including an external wellbeing service where staff could access support if they needed. Communication was extremely effective within the service, using a secure, electronic messaging service to keep everyone informed and updated. There was confidence in the management of the service and people and staff told us it was well led.
