Responsive- we rated this key question as good. People were at the centre of how care is planned and delivered. People could access care in ways that met their personal circumstances and protected equality characteristics.

Most people and relatives told us they felt involved in formulating and reviewing their care plans. However we fed back to the provider that wasn't the case for everyone, and some would like to feel more included. The provider agreed to address this feedback. People told us that when their needs and preferences changed staff were kept informed.

The provider told us they had systems and processes in place to ensure that the care provided to people was individual and person centred. Staff told us and we saw evidence of people, and their relatives, being involved in the initial setting up of the care plans and also in care plan reviews.
