During an assessment of Diagnostic imaging

Date of Assessment: We assessed this service from 26th July to 7th August 2024 We assessed this service because although the service was assessed in 2017 it had not been rated. We inspected all the quality statements across the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions. 360 Care Limited provides a non-obstetric ultrasound service and guided steroid injections in a primary care health centre within the community. The site is easily accessible and provides a responsive service to the local GP services. The service employs a Consultant Radiologist from the local NHS Trust to undertake the guided steroid injections, this element of the service is due to end at the end of November 2024.

During a routine inspection

Patients who used the service were given appropriate information and support regarding their care or treatment and they told us they understood the care and treatment choices available to them.

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure patient's safety and welfare. Patients said the care and treatment to be provided was explained and they were happy with the service they had received.

Patients who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse. Patients told us they felt safe when accessing the service and confirmed they had been offered a chaperone.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Patients told us that they had observed staff washing their hands and we observed them using personal protective equipment appropriately.

There was an effective complaints system available. Comments and complaints patients made were responded to appropriately. Patients told us they were satisfied with the service. However they had not always had information about the complaints procedures.
