Clients spoke positively about how staff support them through their treatment journey. Clients individual needs and preferences are understood and these are reflected in their care, treatment and support. Staff and leaders stressed the importance of care delivery being client led. Staff were committed to client focused care and treatment, education and ongoing support.

Independence, choice and control

Clients were supported to have choice and control over their own care and make decisions about there care and treatment. One client stated that staff were polite and made them feel at ease. One client stated that staff were available to talk, were approachable and non-judgemental. One client described staff as being caring and they talked things through with the staff member. Clients told us they were involved in their care plans and stated staff discuss their options with them.

Staff were passionate about high standards of care delivery. Staff treated clients with compassion and kindness. They understood the individual needs of clients and supported clients to understand and manage their care and treatment. Staff went the extra mile with patients who were of no fixed abode supporting them to find accommodation and taking clients into a warm environment for hot drinks. Staff gave clients help, emotional support and advice when they needed it.
