Updated 24 October 2024
We carried out this assessment 17 September 2024 to 21 October 2024. We assessed this service to see if improvements had been made following our last inspection. At our last inspection in January 2023, we found 6 breaches of the regulations in relation to need for good governance, need for consent, notifications of other incidents, premises and equipment, safe care and treatment, and staffing. At this assessment we found improvements had been made and the provider was now meeting regulations. The provider had a new manager in post who relatives, staff and professionals were positive about. The rating has changed from requires improvement (published 16 May 2023) to good. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. Improvements had been made following our previous rated inspection and the provider ensured the principles of Right support, right care and right culture were met.
