Equity in experiences and outcomes
People did not raise any concerns in relation to experiencing inequality in their experiences or outcomes. One relative told us the provider supplied staff who were able to speak the same language as their relative and other feedback received was collectively positive.
The registered manager demonstrated a good understanding of people's needs and described to us how care was planned and delivered around their needs. However, we found the services own policies and procedures were not always being followed.
In our review of people's care records, we found the quality was inconsistent. We found examples where care was planned around their needs, but we also found examples were care plans were either not detailed or not in place. We did not find evidence of the quality of care records impacting on the quality of the care received by people and relatives gave us positive feedback about the care received by their loved ones. We also found records of mental capacity assessments and best interest’s decisions were not always fully completed.
Planning for the future
