Effective
We reviewed whether the service was providing evidence-based care and treatment. Staff provided care in line with national guidance and ensured people had access to evidence based treatments to meet their needs.

Delivering evidence-based care and treatment
Feedback collected by the service from people was positive. People shared with the service treatments offered were beneficial to their recovery .
Leaders explained assessments prior to admission were conducted to ensure the service could meet people’s needs appropriately.
Systems and processes were in place to ensure all people received comprehensive assessment of their needs for recovery upon admission. Alongside this, regular reviews of people’s care needs and progress were completed. Treatment was in line with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance as well as The Clinical Guidelines on Drug misuse 2017 'The orange book'.
