Equity in experiences and outcomes
We reviewed post treatment feedback collected by the provider which showed overwhelmingly positive responses from those who used the service. People felt their care pathway was individualised to meet their needs and those who required adjustments were involved in planning this. Advocacy was available when required to ensure people had their voice heard.
Staff and leaders explained how the service ensured people with specific needs were able to receive adjustments to their care needs. The service respected peoples protected characteristics and made reasonable adjustments where required. Staff gave examples which included facilitating a person to receive their care and treatment in another Streetscene service which supported other people closer to their age. This provided the person with opportunities to engage and share experiences with peers which aided their recovery experience.
