Well-led
People and relatives we spoke with felt the service was well led. Feedback from staff relating to the management of the service was positive. The registered manager had strong oversight of the service and were supported in their role by the provider.

Feedback from staff relating to the management of the service was mostly positive. Most staff we spoke with told us managers were approachable and dealt with any concerns they raised effectively. The management team held regular team meetings where they provided updates on the service. Multiple staff we spoke with told us of plans for career progression within the home.
The service had a clear vision and structure in place to promote the values of the brand which were, Building caring relationships, Being focused and accountable, Demonstrating integrity, Striving for excellence and Being positive. Regular team meetings were utilised to share information and discuss areas for improvement to ensure staff and managements’ visions were aligned. Additional opportunities for engagement were provided for staff to engage with the registered manager and senior leadership team to discuss any feedback or concerns. The service utilised the ‘Purple Heart Award Scheme’ to show appreciation to staff. The Purple Heart Award scheme gave people, their relatives and friends an opportunity to recognise staff for their contribution to the people using the service.
