Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who were most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care and support in response to this. People’s care records included information about what was important to them, including information relating to their religion and faith. Staff were respectful of people’s religion and provided support in line with their preferences, including respecting people’s preferred gender of care worker. Equality and diversity policies and procedures were in place to ensure an inclusive service that was free from discrimination.
