Our view of the service
This assessment took place between 27 November and 10 December 2024. Nefid Personnel is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care services to people in their own homes and supported living services. This is the first assessment of the service since it was registered on 30 October 2020. During this assessment we looked at parts of 5 key questions, safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. The service was providing care to 2 people. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We spoke with the registered manager and 3 support staff. We made 1 recommendation in relation to safe recruitment because some areas of recruitment required improvement. People were supported and received care from staff who knew them well, understood their needs and preferences. Staff felt well supported and had received appropriate training. There were policies and procedures in place in relation to safeguarding and whistleblowing. The quality assurance systems in place were proportional to the size of the service. There were plans in place to further develop and expand the service.
People's experience of this service
We attempted to gather feedback from people and relatives. In our review of information available in people’s records and other documentation linked to care, as well as our conversations with staff, we found care provided was safe.
