The service planned care to meet the needs of local people, took account of patients’ individual needs, and made it easy for people to give feedback. People could access the service when they needed it and did not have to wait too long for treatment, however, within medical care the service did not always ensure people could access treatment when they needed it. Patients were boarding on the wards and there was a lack of availability of bed. The service provided person-centred care and made adjustments to help people access services.
