A relative told us, “Staff attend here individually but they seem to work as a team, and they communicate with each other well.”

Staff told us that they work well together and that staffing levels were sufficient. One member of staff said, “I feel our staffing levels are good enough. We work together to make sure everyone gets the help they need.”

The local authority had worked closely with the provider, particularly during 2023 following the Home Office visit to the service. The local authority continued to liaise with the provider whilst improvements were being made.

We saw evidence that in 2023 the local authority had met with the provider and staff to look at how the service supported people and to support the provider to make changes for the benefit of people using the service. Meetings were regularly held with staff where updates to the person's condition and circumstances were communicated to staff.
