Caring
We reviewed how the service ensured people had independence, choice and control during their treatment. Staff personalised their treatment interventions based around what people wanted to achieve. Feedback received from people evidenced staff showed compassion, dignity and respect, and provided responsive, practical and emotional support as appropriate.

Independence, choice and control
We reviewed post treatment feedback questionnaires completed by the service. People’s feedback regarding their experiences highly positive, and people’s independence had been promoted.
Leaders and staff shared how people were supported to take positive risks and while considering aspects of safety during their treatment at the service. This helped to promote people’s independence and allowed them to have choice and control over their treatment.
Processes were in place to ensure people’s experiences of the service were sought. People’s feedback was shared at regular meetings with staff which provided opportunities for issues to be raised and responded to.
