Caring
We reviewed how the service ensured people had independence, choice and control during their treatment. Staff personalised their treatment interventions based around what people wanted to achieve. Feedback received from people was positive regarding how staff showed compassion, dignity and respect to them. Staff provided responsive, practical and emotional support to people as required.

Independence, choice and control
People provided positive feedback in post treatment questionnaires collated by the service. Information reviewed demonstrated people felt supported by staff and that their independence was promoted during their time at the service.
Leaders and staff told us how they used people’s care plans to promote their independence, choice and control.
Processes were in place to collect feedback from people using the service. This was used to shape and make changes to the care being delivered by the service.
