Effective
We reviewed whether the service was providing evidence-based care and treatment. Staff provided care in line with national guidance and ensured people had access to appropriate treatments to meet their needs.

Delivering evidence-based care and treatment
We reviewed people’s feedback collected by the service. This evidenced how people felt, and their views on the benefit of treatments offered at the service.
Leaders told us evidence-based treatments were offered to people based upon thorough pre-admission assessments they completed. People’s care needs were reviewed to ensure the service was best placed to meet their needs.
Processes and procedures were in place and followed to ensure people received a comprehensive assessment of their needs for recovery upon admission. A system to ensure regular reviews of people’s care and progress was in place and utilised effectively. Treatment was in line with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance as well as The Clinical Guidelines on Drug misuse 2017 'The orange book'.
