Well-led – this means we looked for evidence that leadership, management and governance assured high-quality, person-centred care; supported learning and innovation; and promoted an open, fair culture. At our last assessment we rated this key question good. At this assessment the rating has remained Good. This meant leaders and the culture they created assure the delivery of high-quality care. There were clear and effective governance, management and accountability arrangements. Staff told us they understood their roles and responsibilities. The registered manager completed spot checks and audits to ensure that care met expected standards, identified/promoted good practices, and highlighted areas for improvement.
